Barco
Barco is one of the top companies in Kortrijk. Its headquarters at Benelux Park showcase its cutting edge nature. The name is a derivative of the 1933 'Belgian American Radio Corporation'. Now it provides global equipment for the corporate world such as control rooms and offices, healthcare such as radiology, and entertainment such as film theatres. Its forerunner started by selling radio sets in his father's jewellery shop. This was followed later with colour televisions and even a jukebox.
The 2016 building bears the name 'One Campus'. The glass circular structure of the main building, with 'The Circle' at its heart, is a real eye-catcher. Its location in the greenery provides a defining image in the surrounding area.
The building is located outside the city centre, ideal to admire during a nice bike ride in the green outskirts of Kortrijk.
