Gastronomy and more specifically beer culture have been on the rise in recent years. Kortrijk has a rich brewing tradition and in recent years a lot more breweries and beer companies have been added. This includes some beers that have become common far beyond the city limits. Just think of 'OMER' and 'Martha'. You could even call them the royal couple of Kortrijk beers. But lesser-known gems like 'Vie' or ‘Goedendag' are also well worth tasting.
