City hall courtyard garden

The small courtyard garden of city hall is a resting spot in the greenery with a few benches.

In spring, crocuses and Easter lilies are in full bloom. Shortly afterwards, you can enjoy the scent of the blossoms of the apple trees. This means that in autumn, you can pick a delicious apple there if you come at the right time.

Accessibility: the entrance is on Papenstraat, through the red gate. If you take the entrance on Leiestraat or enter through the large gate on Grote Markt/Rijselsestraat, you will first find yourself in the 'courtyard' of the historic town hall. Cross this courtyard and take the stairs down
