Rotersmeers

Nature reserve Rotersmeers between Kortrijk and Bissegem is an extra peaceful spot along the towpath between Kortrijk and Bissegem.

This area of nature reserve is managed by Natuurpunt.

You can admire the marshy grassland with its pollard willows from the towpath along the River Leie. You will recognise the meadow from among the other meadows, by the woodpiles in the meadow, the pollarded willows and the Natuurpunt sign. The nearest street is Rootputstraat. You may enter the area, but must be sure to respect the fauna and flora when using the paths here.
